I heard a little bit of him on Parkins and Spiegel earlier. I laughed at Law getting defensive when Spiegel justifiably called him on the book coming off as smug. He said "there's no way in the world someone could read this book and think it's taking a condescending or patronizing tone." Here's the subtitle of the book: The Story behind the Old Stats That Are Ruining the Game, the New Ones That Are Running It, and the Right Way to Think about Baseball

As soon as they stop helping you win, they'll stop trying to get walks. Salaries are moving over to the new stats as well, so I would expect to see more of it. |

You must be confusing me with someone else. I've never complained about the length of a ball game. But the fact is, if the Millennial fan is staying away from baseball because "the games are too long" or it's "too slow" or "too boring", then basing offenses on the walk certainly isn't helping. And replay is just a fucking travesty. |
