Some might say it is too early to make that proclamation, but as someone that correctly called ...

a) Jake Arrieta as a future Cy Young winner when he had a ~6.00 career ERA
b) Rizzo being vastly superior to Abreu
c) September 2014 prediction that the Cubs make the playoffs in 2015
d) Starlin Castro becoming a preeminent middle infielder
e) Eric Thames as one of the game's top power bats

... well, body of work and all that.

Not to pick nit, but the title makes no sense. If you analyze baseball and are part of a generation, you are a generational baseball analyst.

I'm sure he would believe he's the best at everything he does

Would a lady he meets in a hotel elevator at 3:00 AM come back to his room for a foursome?

I didn't want to do this but you are forcing my hand: in that post from 2014 where you wrote that Baez was bad defensively you also said that Alcantara was a future star.

You can link me to the post, but I believe I said they both had a ton of potential. I don't believe I made any guarantees on Alcantara's future stardom, but I could be wrong. I don't recall.

In Baez's minor league career, he was bad defensively. His FLD% was between .940 and .970 at various infield positions. Facts are facts. I cannot say I watched a ton of Baez in the minors.

You were predicting their futures, not detailing their presents.

You already linked it.

I think you are a generational baseball analyst. I'm just keeping you humble.
