crazy. he's been hitting them in the minors for a while, though. got the baseball genes, too.

His first two years he hit 1 and 3 both in short season then he blew up and hit 30 at the age of 20 and hasn't stopped. He's a really cool story.

I've been watching a lot of Dodger games this season and anyone know why there are so many fans wearing Brooklyn hats this year @ Dodger Stadium? One game from the center field batting camera you could count more B hats than LA hats.

The B has always been a good look (so is LA...little known Cliff Claven fact, Loyola Academy allowed the Dodgers to use that trademarked LA symbol). I think a lot of those old NY transplants in LA show their street cred with the B.

Id guess that there was a giveaway in the specific game where HY saw so many

It's my understanding that a lot of Brooklyn families stuck with the Dodgers even as they moved. So, either they are visitors or transplants who logically stayed with that connection. There is a lot of people that go between NYC and Los Angeles because the rest of the country is terrible flyover states and Boston, Philly, and Washington DC.

I think it was the L.A. Angels of the original PCL that gave the interlocking LA to the Dodgers.

Rich Hill 8 clean innings at Pittsburgh. Scoreless in the top of the 9th.

Can an entire batting lineup be fined in kangaroo court?

And somewhere Andy Hawkins sympathizes...

A month ago I would have penciled em in for 115-120 wins, I guarantee there isn't a 115 plus win team that lost 6 straight... They ate pretenders.

1-9 in their last 10. Dbacks have won 11 in a row.

Dbacks picked up 9 games in 10 days. Pretty crazy.

Dodgers lead down to a scant 12.5

For me, 108 has always been the magical number (.667, 2 out of every 3) to put a team in all-time great picture.
