I hope we get some of that good Boston-style character assassination on the way out. He faked his cansah, chief!

Ha ha ha!
The citizens of The Commonwealth are like the "Bad Break Up Guy" from Seinfeld.

Dave Dombrowski likes to have his own guys running things. Which probably means Brad Ausmus will get hired on as the Red Sox new manager.

Now would be a good time to welcome Theo back.

If not for the last two bad years with the Tigers, Broad Assmus would have been a perfect Red Sox manager. Native New Englander, dad was a professor, the fans would never stop jerking off over how wicked smaht he is.

Eh, Tigers gave away all the decent starting pitching on Dombrowski's way out. Dombrowski currently has 3 guys on the Red Sox pitching staff from his days in Detroit: Porcello, Fister and Price. Max Scherzer -- Dombrowski inexplicably dealt to the Nationals. Andrew Miller, another arm Dombrowski traded--but got Miguel Cabrera back in the deal.

And neither Dombrowski nor Al Avila Sr could figure out how to field a competent bullpen.

Managers often have bumpy first go rounds. Francona spent an unremarkable, Ausmus-like 4 seasons managing the Phillies in the late 90's. Joe Torre crapped the bed with 3 different teams before catching fire with the Yankees.
