I'm not drafting a midget at 4. I need more ceiling.

Jonathan India 3B Florida. He made a swing change this year and has really been able to tap into his power (he took Casey Mize deep) while maintaining his hittability. He can definitely stay on the dirt and some think he has the athleticism to play 2B. He may be the highest floor with the highest ceiling hitter in the draft.

Witchita St 3B Alec Bohm hit 2 home runs last night. That gives him 13 on the season.

Florida 3B Jonathan India went 2-4 with a 2B BB

LHP Shane McClanahan was obliterated by Wichita St last night. 3 IP 6 H 6 ER 5 BB 4 K

Kelenic is the pick I'd really like to make but really...it'd be hard for them to fuck this one up.

I'd love to see them take Kelenic but I unfortunately I doubt they take a HS bat.

They could easily fuck the pick up if they take McClanahan. I think Madrigal would be a mistake too. Need more ceiling at 4.

Virginia OF Jake McCarthy returned after missing two months with a wrist injury to go 2-3 with an RBI

Georgia Tech C Joey Bart hit his 14th and 15th home runs

Oregon St midget Nick Madrigal went 2-3 with 2 runs 2 rbi

KLaw did his 2nd mock and he has the Sox taking Madrigal. It went Mize, Bart, Bohm, Madrigal, Singer and India. If they're out on Singer and India I'd much rather see them cut a deal with Kelenic then take Kyler Murray in the 2nd and buy him out of football. They just can't come out of all this bullshit with a 5'6" second baseman.

He has the Cubs taking Canadian HS C Noah Naylor.

He also has Kelenic going 14 to Seattle and Alek Thomas 30 to the Dodgers.

Is Singer not a good choice at #4?

I think he is. Some don't like his arm slot and think his slider will never be a quality pitch as a result. I disagree. He has a plus fastball w/life and a plus change. The slider only has to be avg and he’s a top of the rotation guy. He checks all the other boxes. Frame, work ethic, make up, competitiveness. I would be very happy if they took Singer.

Singer looks pretty nasty but I saw a couple different Youtube vids and his delivery was different. Wonder if he is trying to be more "conventional" to improve his draft status. fuck that.

I don’t think he is. I watched him a couple starts ago and he looked the same. He’s on ESPNU tonight at 6pm so you can see for yourself.

How bout this Mize thing? Running out of steam after 6 innings. Dude has pitched 80 innings all year. Does this sound like a #1 overall pick?

He didn’t pitch. Florida already clinched the conference title so they rested him for the conference tournament. Sully does a great job of not overusing his pitchers but of course it’s easier for him because he has the best and deepest pitching staffs in college baseball.

KLaw just tweeted this.

I’ve been in the Durham Bulls’ Stadium for less than five minutes for the Georgia Tech game and have already seen two Tigers execs and three Giants execs #BartWatch

I guess those Bart to the Tigers rumors has some legs.

I heard Hostetler on the score this morning. He talked openly about Singer but didn't say a word about Madrigal. I don’t like it.

Boston College HS RHP Mike Vasil has removed his name from draft consideration and will attend the Univ of Virginia. Vasil was considered a mid to late 1st round pick.

KLaw has the Sox taking Singer with Madrigal still on the board. I'm praying the Phillies take Madrigal at 3 because I'm not sure the Sox are going to pass on him.

He has the Cubs taking HS 3B Jordan Groshans. Love this guy. I'm hoping he'd be there for the Sox 2nd round pick.
