MLB baseballs are rubbed with mud before being used in games:

It's the weirdest WS in a long time. It doesn't match any baseball logic.

As a fan, after that game 5, I was gassed even to watch game 6. Seems like that game 5 were like game 5,6,7 wrapped into one.

Some fans are rooting for the Astros because of the assault of Hurricane Harvey.

Are any fans rooting for the Dodgers because of the sexual assault assault on Hollywood?

Joe Sheehan was on B and G yesterday to say the era of the playoff crapshoot is over and now a championship is based on skill.

Expect Dan to shift his position as well

So, that era went from 2006 to 2016?

I was thinking about that last night. You'd think with all the information and all the specialization of bullpens that the randomness thing would be curbed a bit.

Still there will always be more chance for variance in a sport where the playoffs are 1/16th of the regular season.

teams play differently in the post season, especially with the pitching but even in the lineups

Im not going to go back and listen. What was the gist of Sheehan's reason for flipping?
