It's the weirdest WS in a long time. It doesn't match any baseball logic. As a fan, after that game 5, I was gassed even to watch game 6. Seems like that game 5 were like game 5,6,7 wrapped into one. |

Joe Sheehan was on B and G yesterday to say the era of the playoff crapshoot is over and now a championship is based on skill. Expect Dan to shift his position as well |

I was thinking about that last night. You'd think with all the information and all the specialization of bullpens that the randomness thing would be curbed a bit. Still there will always be more chance for variance in a sport where the playoffs are 1/16th of the regular season. |
