I really didnt pay much attention to his signing but now I see why everyone is so excited about him.

Otani another HR, off of Kluber no less. The other night the Angels were teeing off on Tomlin. They had like 4 HR's first time or two through the order. You could tell they were chomping at the bit to get another go at Tomlin before Francona pulled him. Whatever down and inside pitch Tomlin was trying to get by them was getting turned on and put into the seats.

Tomlin was throwing puss but the HR against Kluber was impressive. I think he’s going to be seeing a steady diet of inside fastballs.

 Shohei Ohtani will be placed on the disabled list with a grade 2 sprain of the UCL. He underwent a PRP and Stem Cell injection yesterday with Dr. Steve Yoon in Los Angeles. He will be re-evaluated in 3 weeks and we will update his plan of care at that time.
