Good luck getting under the luxury tax threshold with this guy, but it would be a so Yankee move... Either way, momentum for Stanton to Yankees is significant. |

Now that they signed the Japanese guy, the Angels should offer their entire farm system (which is not great) to the Marlins for Stanton. Trout-Stanton-Pujols-Calhoun would be a pretty damned formidable lineup core, and they need to win by 2020 because otherwise Trout will go to Philly as a FA. |

The Cubs trade Castro for a guy they end up trading back to NY for nothing and NY is going to trade Castro for Stanton. This is ridiculous. I need to see the details of this thing because if they trade Castro or Headley for him and just take on his contract MLB should investigate Jeter and NY. |

The Marlins are probably fishing for one of the Yankees higher tier prospects and the Yankees aren't willing to give up that kind of player without minimizing their payroll hit. I feel like this deal is going to happen because the Yankees see their window opening right now. Would not be shocked if Gleyber Torres heads to Miami. |

Dang Judge and Stanton in the same lineup! Glad to get him out of the NL and away from the Cards. Poor Card fans are melting down the last day or so. They cannot understand why Stanton would not want to play in St Louis with the greatest fans in baseball blah blah blah Fuck the Cardinals.
