Very odd. The whole thing. Benintendi is a 1 year rental. But KC seemed to not give up much either. Seems like every trade makes the Lynn trade look insane.

Wasn't sure where this question should go so here it is. Connor is on now talking about the man on 2nd base thing in extra innings. I am sort of like whatever things evolve fine. But what about the case of the extra inning game being a no hitter or worse perfect game? Highly unlikely and it would probably be one of those combined pitcher things but it has to be scored somehow.

Why does it have to be scored? It's a new rule. The RULE put a guy at 2nd. Still a perfect game. It sounds fucked up losing a perfect game 1-0 after a sac bunt and a fly out. But it's a rule in the rule book.

Yeah I think it would still be a perfect game/no hitter. It'd be a cool situation to have happen.

The Padres are smart to not let the massive class of free agents to start the market, but instead to do it themselves and to get it done before Lindor gets his extension.

That Bradley contract seems excessive for a team like the Brewers when compared to what other OF were getting this year. It seemed like there was a big glut and everyone got between 6 and 10 on one year deals.

Saw a piece on GMA this morning about Dunsmore (sp?) on Texas. He is going to opt out another season. Not only due to Covid again but also his biracial issues. Both in MLB and real life he has faced bigotry and other problems for being biracial. Was compelling and I did not know it was that bad.

I knew of you are too dark or too light etc but he mentioned the way he speaks and much more.
