Unfortunately for me there are nights when I slowly get drunk and watch old baseball games in their entirety.

Yeah.

So here are some recommendations.

1980 NLCS game 5

1986 NLCS game 6

1997 ALCS game 3 (very long)

1987 ALCS game 3.

Most recommended games should be under 3:30.

Please add on.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9OXwHquCRI&t=2s 1962 NL Playoff Giants at Dodgers. Giants come back with a miraculous 9th inning to win the pennant.

A few obvious ones:

1951 NL playoff Game 3 (Bobby Thomson game)
1960 WS Game 7
1975 WS Game 6
2004 ALCS Game 4 (Dave Roberts game)

Games 2 and 3 of the 2005 WS are pretty great, especially as a Sox fan.

This one may be hard to find. Maybe my favorite game I've ever attended, June 18, 2005 Sox vs. Dodgers. Pierzynski hit a walk-off homer on a full count in a 9 or 10 pitch at-bat. That was when I knew that team was really good.

Damn, just coming here to say this. 1991 was all-around a great season, even though the Sox ran out of gas and didn't make the playoffs.

Any of the 1991 NLCS games.

Royals-A's one-game playoff in 2014 was a great one.

The 2005 AJ game against LA was great, as JORR said.

Also, the Game 7 of the Red Sox-Reds World Series. #RegularReader

Mariners-Yankees, Game 5 in '95....Black Jack McDowell

(Several White Sox games deleted, though that would be a great thread)

I remember that one because I called it when he came up to bat. I said this is going to be a walk off hr and a minute later it was. I didnt remember if it was back in 2005, i thought it was before or after that year.

2005 ALDS game 3. Hearing Berman's crestfallen voice as the Red Sox lose is great.

Favorite in person is the AJ/Crede game in the ALCS
2nd favorite. Carlton Fisk returns to the White Sox dugout after hitting a grand slam on April 14, 1981, at Comiskey Park.

ya all those assholes @ Espn and the east coast were rooting for the red sox that series. it was so obvious.

Here are links to that ALDS 2005 WS VS RS.

Entire Game :

Crestfallen Fatass call here :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkfdOtciohc - instead of talking about the white sox winning he whines about the red sox season ending and all the focus is on the loser red sox. He actually congrats the red sox for losing.

Recently added a 1982 Sox game. The 83 ALCS is there too.

You are right.

Best Sox doubleheader: In '91, at Fenway. White Sox swept. I was suspended from caddying for one day for getting caught smoking a marijuana cigarette, so I just chilled and watched both games.

Ventura hit two in Game 1. Frank hit one on the rooftop of a building behind Fenway. Sox were down 8-4 in Game 1 but came back and won it in 14. Pasqua and the Deacon, Warren Newson, had big hits, too, if I remember correctly.

Pluto just installed an MLB channel. They're playing the 1996 season opener right now. Sox v. Randy Johnson and the Mariners. I just saw Frank Thomas take Johnson deep in the top of the first. Tony Phillips and Lyle Mouton have also made an appearance.

I don't know if this game has attained "fun old game" status yet, but Pluto: https://pluto.tv/welcome, is replaying the Lucas Giolito no-hitter right now. It's the top of the 3rd. Also, everything they play is available on-demand.
