Stanton's second shot off the green monster (where Judge was thrown out at home), was a thing of beauty...from the hit itself, to the outfielders playing the carom, to the relay. Just spectacular.

I listened to Charley Steiner and Rick Monday on the Dodger radio broadcast for the last five innings once I got off my flight. Old timers, but top notch. Monday was timing pitchers throwing to home during the game to see whether the Dodgers should be stealing. He was totally into the strategy. And Steiner is always solid on PBP.

I never seen a reliever/stopper have so many decisions (only 72 innings) since Lee Smith went 9-9 one year in the 80's.

Decisions are high; relievers regularly rack up double digit wins in relief roles. A couple I can think of were a Yankees pitcher from a decade or so ago (Aceves) and Andrew Miller in 2016 was leading the Yankees in wins (as a reliever) with 6-1 record, finishing the season 10-1 after going 4-0 with the Indians post-trade (again, strictly in relief).

No weak sisters in these playoffs. 2-3 playoff level teams in the AL didn't even make it to the wild card
