his angels were just like his 2017 and after cubs - these guys stop hitting out of nowhere and won't hit for 2 weeks. trout is in the worse slump of his career and looks like joe's 'no big deal' attitude didn't cut it with the guy who writes the checks. sydergaard, ohtani, sandoval and lorenzen are a fairly good rotation. like girardi's phillies, the angels lost some brutal games this year - one game at home to the orioles where rendon's throwing error won the game for baltimore.

Caught Maddon on W & S. Since getting fired by the Angels he's been guesting literally begging for a MLB managing job. Now he says he'd even take a front office flunky job. He's not shy about praising himself for his intelligence, accomplishments, and taking claim as an innovator. He plays the outsider looking in angle who challenges the GM talking openly about his Angels time. Not sure that talk flies too well in this era.
