Probably not his fault. But his approach towards "no we aren't going to hold a team meeting" probably didn't sit well. At some point, Mike Trout is going to wake up one morning and request a trade, and that will be the end of the Angels as we know them. |

The "horrific" comment (that started his downfall, lol) was saying he wanted to wait until the MLB investigation was completed on Addison Russell before forming an opinion. |

At some point, Mike Trout is going to wake up one morning and request a trade, and that will be the end of the Angels as we know them. his angels were just like his 2017 and after cubs - these guys stop hitting out of nowhere and won't hit for 2 weeks. trout is in the worse slump of his career and looks like joe's 'no big deal' attitude didn't cut it with the guy who writes the checks. sydergaard, ohtani, sandoval and lorenzen are a fairly good rotation. like girardi's phillies, the angels lost some brutal games this year - one game at home to the orioles where rendon's throwing error won the game for baltimore. |

Justin Jirschle has been is young, been in the organization for a while and won high praise as a minor league manger. I hope he is their next hire. |

Caught Maddon on W & S. Since getting fired by the Angels he's been guesting literally begging for a MLB managing job. Now he says he'd even take a front office flunky job. He's not shy about praising himself for his intelligence, accomplishments, and taking claim as an innovator. He plays the outsider looking in angle who challenges the GM talking openly about his Angels time. Not sure that talk flies too well in this era. Got to be like grandpa Ross all is good, love our people and culture, nothing is ever wrong with who's paying me. Maddon never addresses his horrendous game panic managing, or mishandling the Addison Russell DV charges talk with the media when they surfaced. He's become pitiful bul always a good listen. |

He understood to win in the playoffs with young players you needed to take the pressure off of the 100 + years of losing. Yes for not adjusting his style after they had won the WS. Not sure what he could have done. His relaxed managing style produced 3 strong playoff runs and 1 WS victory. The price was a spoiled core of star players who didn't know how to adjust to the league when they faced adversity. |
