Opening Day .... pitch clock is great.... Most games done in 2 hours and 30 min.

And it's not just that, the quick pace of the gameplay is terrific. More action, less standing around.

Phillies already have a meltdown of the year with that 4th inning.

Nothing will work to revive baseball. Gen z hates it. Once the boomers are dead there will be half the fans of today.

it's day 1. it'll get better. they will adjust , both the umps and players. but this shit is great so far these games are quick.

maybe lessen the commercial breaks too, subtract another half hour or so and have games 2 hours. like english football.

Who's the Nationals opening day pitcher? Patrick Corbin ('20-'22 17-42 5.82, owed 60 mil 2 yrs). Bombed today. Nationals keep trotting him him out there to get slaughtered. Caught a little flipping games. Kelly Crull Braves in-game reporter... looked great.

What sucks about the pitch clock is that there was a need for it in the first place. I hate it in theory, but the ends justify the means.

Somewhat agree. I'm ok with limiting throws to bases, but 3 seems like not enough. Sure you don't need to throw over there 5 times with Abreu or a catcher at first base, but when there is a legit base stealer on 1st you have to throw over there a bit.

Angels look pretty good. They'll be able to hit and starting pitching will be good but the bullpen is a huge question mark. At least they have a bench now.

MLB needs to monitor what is going on in Oakland. Randazzler said animals were in the booth shitting and pissing everywhere. They had to get candles to try and air it out. He said the only thing being taken care of is the field. Who knows if they're even providing security. That was always an issue there even in best of times.

The Randazzler is a good comfortable late night listen, but his color guy is atrocious.

I think Gubicza is pretty good when he has a good pbp guy to work with. He's very smart especially from pitcher point of view but for whatever reason it seems they want him to be a clown. When he was with Rojas he was kept in check and I suspect it will be the same with Randazzler.

Its nice being able to just turn game on and watch without having to watch with the radio broadcast that was never quite synced up right.

they allowed this because MLB can't wait to put the A's in Vegas.
