Big series between Texas and Toronto this week

i dont get these pro athletes who beat women. First it's something as a regular human being you don't do.

Add to that you make millions of dollars, are a celebrity probably get comped everywhere you go, throw that all away by abusing others?

Max Scherzer is being shut down for the rest of the regular season with a low-grade strain of his teres major muscle, the Rangers announced on Wednesday. General manager Chris Young said that it is unlikely Scherzer will be able to pitch in the postseason, either.

Scherzer exited Tuesday night's game after 5 1/3 innings of scoreless ball with what was at the time diagnosed as a right triceps spasm. In eight starts for Texas since coming over from the Mets at the Trade Deadline, Scherzer was 4-2 with a 3.20 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 45 innings.

The Rangers are in the midst of a tight playoff race, currently sitting a half-game up for the second AL Wild Card spot and a game behind Houston in the AL West race.

you can theoretically get an over in the 1st inning, with an under i have to sweat out the entire game to the last out.

also it's really fun to get an over early, then go back and double or triple dip.

I'm not sure what Kapler was supposed to do with that roster full of platoon players and guys like Haniger and Conforto who were coming off of injuries. It's not Kaplers fault that they ended up with no shortstop and no Aaron Judge. I think Kapler goes back to a front office in some kind of AGM job. He was doing front office work before he got the Philly manager job.

Looks like Houston will win the Division and the Rangers will be the WC team due to the tie breakers
