I think you really need to slow "Negro League Museum" down to get it to sound unambiguous. And there's my admission that I've been unintentionally dropping hard-Rs to myself to test it out.

I did that twice (on two different days, I mean) in my basement. The dentist said I have an XL tongue (that sounds weird to say) and a small jaw, so I flub a lot of words, but the two were still pretty close. So I recorded it, and it was closer, but not as close as Kuiper (if you really listened and didn't have an axe to grind). Long story short: I'd still get in trouble of some sort.

I still wonder if this native Baltimorean should be in the Light-Skinned Wing of the NLM:
