Didn't watch one pitch of any wild card games.

When there was a tiebreaker game to get in the wildcard teams would of had 3 MLB celebrations by then for moving on to the next round.

Cubs fans favorite LaTroy Hawkins on MLB radio said he was scouting Royce Lewis in high school and in the 4 games he saw him in he had 0 hits but still impressed.

I didn't watch any of the games on TV, but I listened to about half of both Minnesota/Toronto games and a few innings of last night's Philly/Miami game on the car radio while driving around between visiting relatives.

The outcome I was really surprised by was Texas waking up from a month-long slide and beating Tampa twice. But the attendance in Tampa was miniscule for both day games.

I may be the only person who thinks that Arizona can beat the Dodgers. The Dodgers starting pitching is a bit of a mess. White Sox fans should be rooting for Arizona, since new AGM Josh Barfield was one of the main architects of their youth development.

Arizona was hanging on to that first game by its nails. Longoria saved a minimum of 3 runs and probably many more. That is with the Brewers having a pretty weak offense.

The D-Backs have been finding different ways to win all season. I wouldn't trust Kershaw in the playoffs Saturday night.

The DBacks could roll this hot streak to the World Series. All thanks to the Cubs for heating them up 3 weeks ago.

I don't think they have enough pitching to get past either Atlanta or Philly in a 7 game series where they will need four starters. The Dodgers? Yeah, they can win 3 of 5 there because they get a day off between games 1 and 2.

the brewers are built for a marathon, not a sprint. they also benefit being in a division of sprinters over 162 games. weak-hitting line-up that actually got bolstered by a 37 y/o santana over tellez. i really wanted the cubs to play them - though i know the cubs' terrible situational hitting negates the brewers' offensive weaknesses.

arizona looked dead after getting swept at home. lost their last 4 games of the year. kudos for getting up off the floor and beating burnes and perralta in milwaukee. helps when the brewers average 2.5 runs a game over 2 games at home.

i don't see them keeping up with the dodgers.

And they had 30 baserunners for the 2 games, almost hard to believe.

yeah. the cubs had 43 LOB (i believe) over 5 games against the giants in 1989. so, i believe it. it happens.

i don't think arizona gets rescued by inept and untimely hitting against the dodgers.

Should they have taken the weekend off  ? If you have FS1 on whatever streaming or cable service you subscribe to but don't have any 4K add-on package, you can always download the Fox Sports app and sign in with your provider and watch the game in 4K for free essentially.

bases loaded no out for the braves. down 3-0. phils get out of it with an incredible double play with Albies down the line.

the phils seem to be on a mission to win the WS.

Dbacks first inning killing Kershaw. Still no outs and 2 in. Dodgers need to stop it here or game over already in the first.

i was thinking about that too. But not sure how the ending would differ from last year. Phils pretty much the same team without Hopkins who is out for the season. I guess they got Kimbrel this year.

Astros seem to be getting right at the right time. Best thing for the Phils is to have another team take the Astros out but I don't see that happening.

its like back in the day when the Dodgers use to go up vs the Yankees and lose every time.

As Costas pointed out, Kershaw has had a few great postseason outings -- but holy shit, 9/10 times this guy really really sucks in October.

old man Longoria delivers 6-0. still in the first

roberts pulls him 3 runs too late.

only good thing about this for the Dodgers is they got 9 innings to come back.

i remember when he was in his prime and they were playing the Cards in the nLDS I think. He gave one up to that fat fuck cardinals players who's name i can't think of right now. The dodgers that year were the best team in baseball but couldn't get out of the first round.

found it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKIDS7A_cm4

that was an amazing game for the cards. it was really unbelievable that kershaw was still in there and gave up th3 run dinger. i remember watching and laughing my ass off

Joe Buck with the unprofessional homer call. meaning cards fan homer, not the ball going out.

Jason Heyward starting for the Dodgers. I guess they fixed him. He batted .269 for the this season, 15 hrs.
