I like watches. I have a decent Movado that I wear all the time. If I had the strap, I would get a Rolex. I promise you that it would not look as fruity as this Jacob & Co. concoction. Hot girlfriend, bad taste in expensive watches. I'd give him a pass if he even rocked a Tag Heuer.

Watches are too "in the way". Besides, watch-type 'status' interferes with my jeans/hoodie vibe that I work hard to maintain.

I don't have a circle and I have never, once, noticed a guy's watched and and thought "now that guy has made it".

I went with a group to Las Vegas once. One guy was wearing a Rolex and felt the need to speak about it incessently. A hooker stole it later in the trip. Good times ensued.
