I agree for the most part. Some of these sports are plagued by too many playoff teams and too many off days in the post season...or both.

Hockey has like an 8 week off season. Its sickening.

I'm not predisposed to like the Met but there is something about the Royal that irks me. I'm not sure if it's the shaky rotation or Yost or the ghost of Don Denkinger. Daniel Murphy goes bananas and is encased in plexiglass after the series. Met in 7.

Royals pitchers bean Cespedes in his sore golfing shoulder first 3 times he's at the plate and the Series is suspended due to bench clearing brawls. Mets and Royals declared ineligible, Jays too Kanaydian and the Cubs are awarded the 2015 World Series Championship by default.

You know I was watching 71 Series highlights today ( Balt/Pgh) and wouldn't you know and old fossil like Danny Murtaugh employed a shift (3 infielders on the second base side ) against left handed hitters like Boog Powell and Ellrod Hendricks. He must've been the Joe Maddon of his day.

It's Tom Verducci. He's a pain in the ass. I love Harold Reynolds.

Sad story about Volquez's father passing away and he foung out on the way to the ballpark. Big kudos for him for taking the ball and starting the game.
