I knew Cueto would struggle in the A.L. its a tougher lineup night in-out.. Do the Cubs even want a guy who's going to get rocked in inter league and world series matchups?

Same with Price, he's a great regular season pitcher who's earned his stripes in the A.L. but gets shelled in the post season.

I think its Greinke or Zimmerman, Gallardo is a nice consolation prize..he's as good as Lester @ half the cost.

How can it be that the AL is so much tougher if the NL Central was the best division in baseball history?

Speculation that something is wrong with Cueto's elbow.. maybe the Reds knew this, maybe they didn't...

I thought it was common knowledge that he wasn't exactly right prior to the trade?

Randy Johnson started his post season career 2-7

I think Greinke presents some problems as he is 32. You already have Lester who will be 32 as well at the start of the year. That sets up the strong possibility of bad and immovable contracts in the not to distant future.

The best route for the Cubs would be to trade for established young pitching. Moving Schwarber and/or Castro while the market is high would be the move I would suggest.

I will be shocked if someone out bids the Dodgers for Grienke. I will be mildly shocked if the Dodgers don't end up with Grienke and Price.
