I also do not like to root for (Insert any NY team here) ! I like Eli and Jeter, and Buffalo doesn't count as NY to me. I can't say I hate them. The breaks always seem to go the NY way.

No its not. The 1945 goat was named Murphy.

I like the Mets. I would like to see them win. I also kind of like the Royals, even though they play in the Sox division. I don't root for them during the season, but I would be OK with them winning. They are a great team, and as a Sox fan I am envious of the squad they have put together. Hopefully with some of the good young arms the Sox have we will be watching them playing during this time 2 or 3 years from now
