And he can sign all the free agents he wants if it means he keeps running my drafts and trade deadlines. |

John Henry let him (or forced him if you part of the cult of Theo) sign whomever he wanted in FA at the end and it sunk the franchise. |

The Hanley Ramirez, Pablo Sandoval & David Price signings lend some credence to that theory no? |

Brian Dozier hit his 42nd home run. Let me repeat that. Brian Dozier hit his 42nd home run. Time to put away the super balls and start playing with the real baseballs. |

The fighting Bucks tied it up in the b9. With Detroit and Toronto winning they can't afford to lose a game to the shitfuck D'Bags. |

Corey Seager just hit a game tying bomb in the b9. He'd get my MVP vote. |

Wilson Ramos tore his ACL and is done for the year. Not sure if he'll be ready for the start of 2017. Hopefully the Nats make him a qualifying offer that keeps him off the free agent market. Seems like it could work out for both sides. |

Robbie Cano making a late push for MVP. If the Mariners somehow sneak in that last playoff spot he probably should win it. |

Zack Britton 47-47 in save opportunities this year. Without a starting pitcher having a dominating season he will probably win the Cy Young award. He's having a crazy good season. |

Orioles win. Astros officially eliminated. That's a shame. |

Vin Scully doing play-by-play on a couple of doofus fans who ran onto the field; one of the field-jumpers made it all the way to Angel Pagan, who leveled the fan. |

Cool, thanks. I watched Vin call the game Friday, and then did the audio only today; as they let him take over the radio call as well. Giants really went all out for Scully. Giants were his team back in NY (fan-wise). Vin even took over calling the game on the Giants broadcast outlets for a side. |

Always a class act...never turned into a crotchety old man like many old broadcasters do |

St. Louis is the only team in the NL to finish over .500 and miss the playoffs. That's a shame. |

yeah, Rose shot a career best 34% from beyond the arc his first post-injury season. but he also crapped-the-bed from regular FG range that year, 36% prolly FavreFan only shoots 25 footers, so he couldn't help out with those tricky 12 footers. edit, whoops, forgot Rose immediately went back on IR. and then went back to sub 30% from 3 point-land in statistically meaningful play. |
