i'm surprised edmonton has been this good. i thought they squeaked into the series and calgary would take care of them. now it's the flames that are on the ropes.

Carolina is 0-4 on the road in the playoffs. That is not a good sign. And you know if they make it to Tampa, Cirelli and that stout D will shut down Aho just like Bergeron and McAvoy did.

As Hawk used to say to DJ, I love it when you analyze.

Thank you.

Looks like Rangers/Carolina is a home team wins only series. Either of these two teams going down to Tampa. Tampa looks like it's going to 3 peat. I'm not too impressed by Oilers or Col/STL.

Ray Ferraro is a great analyst. So much better than Olczyk.

maybe you like his delivery better? not sure what he knows about hockey that eddie o doesn't. ray did miss trouba absolutely pulverizing jarvis. thought the officials should have blown the whistle, he was in major distress and ray thought he lost an edge. just like every playoff year, this playoff, shesterkin looks invincible...could be over, the canes keep trying to draw high-stick penalties and that isn't a good sign.

can't blame antti for the 2nd goal, not good on the 1st goal. injured and now replaced.

Ferraro gives a better description of the game and richer information. More details with a smoother delivery. I learn very, very little about the game from Olcyzk. He often spends time talking about what a player should have done and during replays he likes to tell you the exact moment that something happened which is never needed. After listening to Olcyzk for years and knowing all his catch-phrases and basic analysis, I could very easily go without ever hearing him again.

col was running away with it at 7-3 but now it's 7-5 with the colorado goalie out of the game w/ injury. won't be surprised if the oilers come back and win.

7-6 now. colorado blowing it

Post subject:  Re: 2022 NHL Playoffs

empty net goal. but colorado looked like shit in the 3rd. all point blank shots by the oilers. will be interesting to see how long col goalie is out.

That was entertaining. I know I've said it before but that TBS intermission show is really good and much better than its ESPN counterpart. I watched the game this morning and actually stopped to watch to the intermission segments. Gretzky talking about how he was the greatest offensive player of all time but was still stressing that Colorado needed to play better defense was great. And the energy that Bizz brings is great. Melrose is horrible on ESPN and there is very little chemistry between Chelios and Messier.

And I am definitely betting the Rangers in game 1 tonight. Tampa suffers from a lack of give-a-shit at times, like the Hawks used to, and will probably come out rusty and a little flat. Shesterkin is locked in. I could see NY stealing game 1 and then Tampa rolling the next 4.

Ya the intermission segments on TNT are great.

I think Tampa is in a league of it's own when compared to the Rangers.

The ESPN Pre Game show for ECF is soooooooooooo boring. 3 guys talking in a closet and cut to the rink and they have everything on mute.

TB goalie looks off tonight. Probably rusty from 9 day layoff. Looks like the Rangers will take game 1.

The Avs are spotting them one so they don't have too much rest between series and so that someone can put Kane through the fucking boards when he returns from his suspension.
