Morons. Neely is the one they should've fired. Also notice that the press conference coincidentally starts the same time as the Pats parade. They know they are making a bad move here with this fire, but Cam can't admit it's all his fault. Sidenote, but Q is now the longest tenured coach in the league. |

I liked how he would openly talk about how they weren't good enough to score goals consistently. Good coach and probably a bad move but they're probably doing him a favor since they will need to rebuild soon. He won't be unemployed for long. |

The Bruins have been playing a years-long game of "how many dumb things can we do while we have one of the best defensemen of all time?" The interim coach is Bruce Cassidy. Longtime NHL observers may remember Cassidy as the guy who coached the Jagr/Bondra/Lang/Kolzig Capitals and made such a hash of a decent roster that the Caps tore the whole thing down, finished last, and drafted Ovechkin. |
