I'd feel great about the Senators winning because Erik Karlsson is one of the best hockey players in the world, but nobody in America knows who he is because the NHL is shit at marketing elite talent from Canadian cities. I can deal with the Pens if it means Nashville losing, though it would knock the Hawks down to second-best of their era.

Fels beating off to PK Subban is too much: http://faxesfromuncledale.com/this-ones-easy/

Quote:
But it goes beyond hockey, as does anything when it comes to marketing and promotion. I can’t conceive of how he could be more of a marketing dream. He’s stupid handsome. Look at how this man dresses:

I mean fucking hell. Come on. He’s hip, he’s stylish. Express hired Kris Bryant for a year and Kris Bryant doesn’t have anything to say!

There’s another thing. Subban has things to say. He’s a bright guy, and has navigated some pretty sticky subjects smoothly. He knows everything that follows him and hasn’t been afraid to address it.

Hockey players are all retards who stopped going to school in 7th grade except when they aren't. I have nothing against Subban but the fawning, Jesus Christ. He's a really good defenseman. He's not Ali. You come on.

The prospect of a Sens/Perds Final has me salivating, only because NBC would be beating the NHL Office doors down to revert back to the Conference seeding playoff system.

This game has been pretty good. Quietly pulling for Sens here.

I don't like the Pens so I'm pulling for the Canadian team. It's a good game.

Pittsburgh and Ottawa, all good people. May the best team win and then win four more.

Go Sens. Pulling for Craig Anderson here. And anti-Crosby.

Pens beat the Sens to almost every loose puck. Sens had the look of a team that knew it had gotten way farther than it had any business to go, and yet it's intermission #4.

LOL @ the Pittsburgh fans who were convinced that was a goal at the end of OT.

It was the end of a period of Game 7 sudden death, I'm sure anyone anywhere would have been a little hair-trigger.

I can understand their thoughts, on one of the replays the first time I saw it I thought it was a good goal as well.

Bad camera angles.

not sure what OTT was doing in OT watching standing around waiting for pitt to score. They missed their chance in the beginning of the 2nd OT, by not passing over to Karrlson who would have had a terrific chance.

Rooting for Predators. I think they are better than the Sharks last year and Pitt is not as dominant as last year's team.

I hope Preds win it.

No. Fuck their asshole fans.

Hey, look at it this way: if it had been Nashville-Ottawa in the Final, NBC would have cancelled hockey coverage and replaced it with some reality show called, like, America Can't Stop Farting.

I think the Predators are dangerous for the Pens. If they play like they did against the Hawks it will not be a long series.

CH, was that shoulder by Crosby beneath the goal line on the 5-on-3 interference, you think? Crosby stopped a clearing attempt, played it up the boards, and stepped into the chest of a Preds skater.

Ehh, Perds got jobbed on the goal reversal, and it's been all downhill since.

Crosby elbows a guy in the head doesn't matter either.
