Strange things happen at time. I think that is going to be a really good series.

I can't stand either team but I really want to watch St. Louis and Minnesota beat the hell out of each other. Flower is trying to kill the Hawks shot at a 1st rd pick. I think there are already 5 roughing penalties tonight. I still like Hartzy even though he is on the Wild.

The team I want to watch win it all is Colorado. Even though they beat the shit out of the Hawks every time they play I respect them because they are just a really good team and fun to watch. Its not boring dump and chase with them. They are fast and can score early and often. On the other side I will go with Carolina. They have been fun to watch the last few years. I know Florida is a powerhouse but there are too many connections between them and the hawks for me to ever root for them even for a cup run.

Avs have really come along over the past 10 years.

There's a couple of Blackhawks on these playoff teams. Some are decent contributors. Sad for us.

I haven’t watched hockey this year. I never realized how much the state of the Hawks impacts my winter sports viewing. I have been NBA heavy all season…

Even when they were bad following the 1992 Cup Run, I watched. Now...now so much...

TNT's telecasts are better but not as good as when the sport was on NBCSN.

---

Oilers choke another game again. All that talent and they struggle to get out of the first round. Down 3-2 now.

I agree. While NBC's coverage got a lot of criticism, I enjoyed their telecasts. Albert, Olczyk, and Boucher was entertaining. I'm not an Olczyk fan but he was good with that mix.

I do not know who the Rangers were prior to mid 2nd period the other night but they seem back. Add Crosby to the list with Jarry and then bet accordingly.

Every time the Oilers try to separate from the dynasty years, they do something stupid. Remember when the Spawn guy tried to make them look like the New England Patriots?

They got to the second round in 2017, too.

The two best teams in the 1st round in the East were Toronto and Tampa. It's a shame Toronto is out again.
