Calgary Flames are my Champions. Blackhawks get to the Conference championship game, only to lose again. The Kings and Blues are going to surprise the hell out of a lot of people. Saint Louis tore it up at the end of last season, even though they had A LOT of players hurt. The Sharks are going to be the regular season champ, only to fuck up in the playoffs… again… Heatley is going to score. A lot. Redwings are dropping off, goaltending is shaky and with the loss of Hudler and Hossa, they are losing production.

In the East, the Devils usually do well during the regular season, so I expect nothing to change. I didn’t realize how packed the Atlantic division is. People like philly to win the division, but I’m waiting to see the impact of Pronger, and I don’t like their goaltending. Canadians are going to be a lot better this year. I love price, and with the additions of Gomez, Cammalleri, and Gionta, they got a lot younger and a lot more skilled. But they are from Canada, so they won’t win the cup, but they will get to the Conference finals.

He isn't assaulting them but he is punishing them for previous misdeeds.

I think Kane should be nicknamed "The Judge".

I've always followed the Hawks first and foremost but when I originally started liking hockey was right during the arrival of San Jose in the league. I loved their logo and ended up begging my parents to get me Sharks, not SHARK, shirts and hats for my birthday and Christmas as a kid. I've remained a closeted Sharks fan ever since. I attended a couple games out in San Jose too while visiting friends(button 48). It's a great place for a game and the fans are very passionate about the team. Last year, I felt the Sharks got a tough draw in the Ducks who were arguably one of the best teams at the end of the season and the team was full of guys with cup winning experience. This season Heatley paired with Thornton will be lethal. They need more offense from their second line. Goaltending should be solid as always with Nabokov.

FOr the Blackhawks, in my opinoin, goaltending is the key, we will get to see if Huet can do it.

On the rest, I think the best 4 teams right now are the Blackhawks, Red Wings, Penguins, and Captials. I think just below are the Bruins, Flyers, Sharks, and Canucks, and maybe the Blues. If the Rangers can score, I would not count them out from having a good season and the Hurricanes may not have the best team, but you don't watch and there in the conference finals.

For you Old Timer, the big question for the Sharks is can they do it in the playoffs, good regular seasons, just not good playoffs.

My darkhorse for the year is the Columbus BlueJackets.

My Stanley Cup Final is the Blackhawks vs the Penguins, with as what happened last time a Penguins back to back and again over the Blackhawks.

bump.

flyers really making it interesting i guess going down the stretch here.

back to back rangers games tomorrow and sunday. they could really use the points to give them some separation. for some reason i'd really like to see them play the devils. i don't know why. i know they'll lose...but they're probably gonna lose in the first round anyway. it'd be a fun series to watch.

i do hate jersey devil fans though...(cue puddy pic)
