I just don't understand what could possibly inspire you to do something like that... it's just fucking dumb, even if it goes unnoticed by the refs, you know that everyone else will see you do it. There's at least 3 or 4 cameras on the puck at all times, and there were 2 sharks back in-front of Stoll.

The Kings were the #8 seed in the Western Conference, but thanks in large part to solid goaltending from Jonathan Quick, they eliminated all 3 of the top seeds in #1 Vancouver, #2 St. Louis & now #3 Phoenix. Anything's possible, especially in the quest for Lord Stanley's Cup. Nicely done...

Everyone important forward sans Brown is locked up for at least 5 years, the defensive core is not going to change next year and Doughty is locked up for god knows how long. You lose Penner which means nothing during the regular season, you hope to get lucky and have a rejuvenated Gagne play alongside Carter and Richards; but in reality you could have anyone play with those two and still have it be one of the best lines in the NHL. You have enough cap space to lock in Quick for a long time, and you have a shot at resigning Stoll.

sweet, now all they need to is have another playoff run where the first team they play is missing its best player, the second team they play is young inexperienced and overrated and the third team they play is an afront to the game of hockey. Couple that with the league once again forgetting what obstruction is and the Kings are set for years to come!

The Los Angeles Kings had just that, Spanky. Jonathan Quick was $$$$ in the bank for the most part during the Kings' Stanley Cup title run, their first since they became an NHL expansion franchise in 1967.

The Kings got Keaton Ellerby from the Panthers for Jersey's 5th round pick from the Loktionov trade. So basically the Kings turned an small European project forward who doesn't fit the Kings' system into an big American project defenseman, who does fit the Kings' system. Got him for a 5th.
