USA looked like crap early on and were completely embarassed all night on their own power play, but they persevered and hung in there long enough to go on a 3rd period run and put away the heavily favored Swedes.

Now its USA vs Can'tada for the gold in a rematch of New Years Eve's thrilling 5-4 OT Can'tada win, a game that the US were far and away the better team.

Tuesday night at 7.

If you don't watch this game then turn in your sports fan card, you're fired.

What channel? I'll definitely tune in if it's on any regular cable channel I get in my room.

Does my sports card still need to be turned in if there's no possible way for me to watch it?

No, you actually get extra credit points because you made an honest attempt to inquire about it. You've been elevated from "sports fan" to "sports efficianado"

This seems like a pretty big event. And we've seen with Soccer and other international events that nationalism is a key component in ratings. I dont see why they cant throw this on ESPN2 or some shit. I'm pretty sure it would beat out some of its cable competitors.

yeah its a huge event. Anyone who's anyone in the NHL has most likley played in the World Juniors at some point. Kane and Toews just to name a couple locally.

That was a great finish, they said that there will be a replay on the NHL network tomorrow night for those who missed most of the game because of the blackhawks... God how I love international hockey, those kids were flying out there, but the only change I would make is to keep it 5 on 5 for the OT, but it was a damn good winning goal, the kid was aiming from his peripheral  and the replacement goalie for the US played his balls off tonight as well, great game... I'm gonna be watching for that taylor hall kid, he could be a superstar...

At least you wanted to watch it...so you're excempt. I'm talking about people who could watch it, but didn't bother, or even worse watched a different sporting event instead like the Bulls or the Bowl game. Of if people watched the Hawks and didn't DVR this game they're even more of an idiot because they are so called hockey fans.
