They are clearing room for Bryzgalov. Richards to LA for Schenn and Simmonds, then trading Carter to Columbus for Voracek and picks.

Always thought that Richards was a cheap shot bastard, but after thinking about it the last day I'm pretty sure he's just misunderstood...

Penner, Kopitar, Brown

And to think that the Kings almost wasted Schenn and Simmonds to get Hemsky at the trade deadline, fuck that noise...

But Philly has acquired 3 top level prospects in all of hockey and some good draft picks in one of the deepest drafts in recent memory(supposedly) so im not shedding any tears for them... I bet they regret giving Toronto a first for Steeger though.

Yeah I didn't realize that he had asked for a trade when I wrote that, he says it's family related... Either way it's gonna be 6 million off the books, and looks like the kings get some second or third round picks, and Calgary or Edmonton will pick up a 35 year old who disappears 20 games at a time... And at the time that doughty needs to be resigned... Starting to be a good off season 8)

Really? I have always really liked him, didn't ever really see him being cheap. He is very gritty and physical, but not cheap imo.

To sum up what they said on Puck Daddy's podcast, there was a lot of immaturity and too much partying going on in Philly. Also, the clubhouse was divided between Richards and Pronger (douchebag).

Goal to tie it up, and primary assist in ot to set up the win... This guy knows how to make an entrance... unlike Penner, who was scratched from the lineup because "he was not feeling well" :roll:
