Hockey Gay, what makes you think Detroit can take out the Ducks?

Penguins - 6
Senators - 6
Capitals - 5
Maple Leafs - 7

Blackhawks - 4
Ducks - 7
Sharks - 6
Kings - 5

Maple Leafs prediction is wrong but what I want to see. Their Fenwick Close % is 2nd last only to Buffalo! :lol

Stanley Cup: Blackhawks vs. Ottawa

The Penguins winning the Stanley Cup with Fleury was an aberration. I do not believe a Fleury backstopped team will ever win a Cup again.

The Ducks are a good team but their record indicates they're better than they really are. They over-achieved all season and have been playing really average hockey down the stretch. It looks like a lot of their so called depth is regressing back to where they should be while their stars, Ryan and Perry didn't have the season they should of had. Getzlaf, who had the best season of his career seems to be playing with an injury, although he has looked better in the last couple weeks of the season so he could be feeling a lot better. The Wings are looking good. Howard is playing great in net and they found a way to finish 5th in the league in defense. They look like a different team from earlier in the season. Datzyuk and Zetterberg are playing out of their minds. Out of all the upset picks that are possible, Detroit over Anaheim seems to be the most popular pick to make so far and I can see why.

My prediction is you're not going to find Canadiens-Senators on anything but the NHL Network where no one can see it.

This is not a good thing. No one should subject themselves to watching Ottawa Senators hockey. Puke.

Since the West and East didnt play this season, I was shocked to see that the Islanders and Leafs made the playoffs. How bad is the East?

NHL Network is DIRECTV 215, just so you know. NBC Sports Network is DIRECTV 220 & CNBC is DIRECTV 355.

As a decade long Directv subscriber, stock market guru, and sports fanatic, I am amazed that I just learned something new about their channel like-up. I thought NBC Sports was 603?

It was on 603 where the former VERSUS & OLN were. NBC Sports Network relocated to 220 to coincide with them now airing "The Dan Patrick Show" every weekday morning.

What is this 220 you talk about? What types of programming do they offer? I keep watching 603.

Seeing it more out here I would say besides Pens, Bruins and Canadiens pretty bad. Although beware Ovechkin has heated way the hell up second half of season if looking for upsets.

It's hard to tell due to the lack of head to head match ups but the West is better in my eyes. The East is more open, more run and gun. The Hawks would of torn that conference apart this season. The West has more system based teams.

Leafs and Islanders are improved teams this year but I don't think the Islanders make it in a full 82 game schedule. I think the Leafs get in for sure in an 82 game schedule, they've improved and matured and Carlyle has done a great job with them.

That's the DIRECTV channel where NBC Sports Network is located now.

I am officially picking the New York Rangers as 2013 Stanley Cup Champions.

They will surprise many, after putting in a mediocre regular season.

About equal to the West, really. The Isles are pretty spotty, but Tavares carried them into the playoffs. The Leafs are solid.
