This is awesome. You are finally the guy to say it correctly with regard to big games and ratings. People wrongly always say the leagues in question want this match up or that. They give a flying shit. They already have their big rights fees i.e. the super bowl. The networks are selling the time not the leagues. I give a shit less how much money they make show me good (in this case) hockey.

Been a pretty tight game 7 so far. Each team seems scared to make a mistake.

Would the blackhawks have home ice advantage vs either of these teams in the finals?

Neither: New York won the President's Trophy, and Tampa finished with 108 points to the Hawks' 102. Anaheim would have home ice over Tampa, God forbid.

Regular season has no relavance in the playoffs. See the Wild vs Hawks regular season results vs playoffs.
