This is like the fourth year of Minnesota shitting themselves mid-season (just like us) and endangering Mike Yeo MTV Raps's job. They finally did it!

The Minnesota Wild announced Saturday that they have agreed to terms with Bruce Boudreau as their next head coach.

The deal is expected to be four years worth slightly under $3 million per season, according to TSN's Bob McKenzie. Boudreau will be introduced during a news conference on Tuesday.

Despite coaching the Ducks to four consecutive division titles and a 208-104-40 record in the regular season during his tenure, Boudreau was fired after their first-round exit against the Nashville Predators.

So they fired a coach that could not get them from Point B to Point C, just to hire a guy whose career has been defined by being stuck at Point B. With more talent.

Brilliant.

Not that this predicts any championship for Boudreau by any means, but there wasn't a more stuck-at-point-B coach in the league than Joel Quenneville in 2008.
