MLS season started already? Shit. Watching Portland - Philly, always cool to see Portland at home. Freddy Adu is back? Missed that. Kasey Keller retired and is next to Lalas and WWE's Todd Grisham on ESPN? Also missed that. Looks like the SPL's all time leading scorer is on Portland, Kris Boyd. Got out of Rangers just in time. Being The SPL's all-time leader scorer is almost as impressive as being MLS'

ESPN where ex-WWE announcers go to work...Todd Grisham and Johnathan Coachman are on the roster at the Mothership...I guess before his bad announcing at FSC and his bad comments towards Asians, Max Bretos, worked for the WWE on Smackdown...Was news to me but I don't watch Smakdown.

Gotta say. Even though I am a Chelsea fan...I found this to be pretty funny.

Myself and a few native Irishmen had a discussion about this tonight at Jack Desmond's. The infamous Angel of Death youtube video was even brought it up in conversation. And then some douches who overheard us had to chime in about Barcelona and flex their soccer knowledge.

Seems like some kind of heart thing from what I've read. Still listed in critical condition.

Well he is moving his extremities. I read his heart actually stopped for a couple hours and I didn't think that was an affliction you could come back from.

How about Fernando finally scoring a brace? Granted it was against a Championship side. Big match this week City-Chelsea. Squeaky bum time.

HUGE win for City today! Down 1-0 and playing like shit, they bring on Tevez and rally to score 2 in the final 15 minutes. Tevez with a beautiful setup of Nasri for the game winner.

Only a pt behind United and they still get a shot at United, this time at home. That game is going to be EPIC, basically the Super Bowl of the EPL.

Yeah man that was shit. Dalglish has been clueless but these players are a fucking disgrace. Back to back to losses to teams in the relegation zone.

Another disheartening loss.

I want "King Kenny" to win me 2 trophies and be replaced by "The Special One".

And on a sad note. I spent many a summer eve in the Meadowlands watching number 9 do what he did best, score. He was phenomenal with the ball on his foot. The best natural goal scorer I ever saw, and I watched him AND Pele.

Arrividerci, Giorgio.

It's worse than it was under Hodgson. Fuck King Kenny. This team is a shower of shit.

RE: Giorgio

I had just started listening to his football show a couple weeks ago on XM. He was on the air Friday and people were wishing him good health. I think he had his first heart attack in March. I heard the Grobber give a shoutout to him last night!

All that high priced British talent sure is working out at Anfield.

I am waiting for someone to convince me that Henderson and Downing and Adam are not 1 player cloned 3 ways. They all suck.

And just when you thought City were six feet in the ground United shit the bed against Wigan. Now, City need to win the derby and then win out and hope United draw or lose 1 match. They should pip them on goal differential if they are tied on points.

Liverpool and Chelsea in the FA Cup Final. May 5. Might be that the Blues will be tired from Champions League. I expected a Everton-Spurs final so I'm not sure what to think yet. Both clubs have underperformed this season in the league. I think Liverpool can win but the odds makers would favor Chelsea.

Chelsea 0 Arsenal 0

During the broadcast on the Booyeah Network...Ian Darke made mention that if Chelsea were to in the Champions League (yeah right) that the Premier League would only have three teams in next year's tournament and that Tottenham may lose out on a place in Europe next season. Does anyone know why.

BTW....Robbie Mustoe was fillining in for Steve McManaman along side of Darke at the crapfest at the Emeriates. Darke said McManaman was in the Far East playing soccer...Wonder if Nickolas Anelka asked him to come out of retirement to play for Anelka in China....Gotta say, that has to be a pretty screwed up team if Anelka is player/manager.

F'ing awful.

Bye Kenny!

This team should play a 4-4-2 with Suarez up front and Kuyt in support. Maxi Hernandez must be on the wing with whoever of the clones on the other. Carroll should be given a coat and hat and told which section at Anfiled he will be seating today.

BTW, great subs, the only two players doing anything offensive are subbed for.

DUH!

Chelsea would still automatically qualify as the winner. Same thing happened with Liverpool when they finished 5th and won the CL in 2005 but they had to join in the early qualifying stages in the summer. I don't think they'd bump the 4th place team in the Prem for Chelsea. I remember Everton still got in after 2005 and they finished 4th ahead of Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola quit today. Has denied any rumors of a move to Chelsea. He won't go there. They're playing that defensive hoofball shit. They'd have to gut the squad to play the tiki taka.

I don't see Pep coming to Chelsea either...I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Pep take a year off from managing. I can't imagine the kind of pressure he has been under at Barca.

I also think another reason Pep isn't coming to Chelsea is because I cant see him going to a club that won't able to offer Champions League football next season. I think Chelsea's only route to next years tournament is going to be by winning this years tournament.

A manager like Pep will want total control of running a team and I don't think Roman will want to do that...If he did...Mourhino wouldn't have left in the first place.

On the transfer front, Chelsea have secured the signature of Weder Bremen play-maker Marco Marin. Also heard that Romiel Lukaku going to Bremen on loan. I think this move spells the end of Florient Malouda's time at Stamford Bridge.

Suarez had a hat trick yesterday. The third goal was sublime but to be fair all three were due to the shit show of defense displayed by Norwich.

Torres gets his first Chelsea hat-trick in the Blues 6-1 win over QPR. Sounds like QPR's defense played as well as Norwich did against Liverpool. Looks like QPR may be headed to the Npower Championship next season.
