if blackburn wasn't in the relegation table, i'd actually feel good about only losing 1-0.

i love that rovers fans are protesting kean...now they're being banned. stay classy, rovers organization. why not try getting a real manager? the fucking ownership is awful there. burnley fans must be lovin' it.

Man Citeh nearly got caught with its pants down. QPR played very well. I'm impressed. Plus they seem to attack a ton, which makes their games more fun to watch.

Manchester United should have had a nil nil draw. Great keeping from Sunderland's backup.

Hey Zack, I found an article on The Guardian you might be interested in reading.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/david-conn-inside-sport-blog/2011/nov/17/blackburn-global-ambition-pecking-order

Liverpool-Chelsea from Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Also, Man City-Newcastle, which is now a huge match considering Newcastle's current table position (3rd).

Robbie Keane had the opener there. Blew it.

Still blitzed from Euro celebrations I'd think.

Ouch tough offside call. Figured the fix would be in for LA

Keano onside on that last one. Highway robbery. But I could see that being hard to get right it was that close.

Donovan scores from a nice pass by Keane. Becks tackles a Dynamo player with his arms, only gets a yellow, and Harkes says "he'll do anything to try and win the cup." This was right after Beckham's "moment of destiny" where he hit a free kick right in to the wall on the edge of the penalty box.

Sent off again today against Liverpool. Fuckers still held on for a draw. Better than getting thrashed 6-1 at home, though. :D

KD you should be creaming yourself in this thread. Palace won at Old Trafford! In the most insignificant cup tournament held in the UK! Against a Man United C team! All kidding aside, a good result for your team. They have a decent chance of getting to the final now that we know they get Cardiff in the semifinals. Liverpool and Man City play in the other one. To think, Palace, if they win the Carling Cup, could be playing in Europe next season in the Europa League/UEFA Cup/Bullshit Tournament Played on Thursdays.

I've been lamenting that they've taken 2 points from their last 6 games in the Colaship mostly, but I do dream of a midweek match-up against Shamrock Rovers next year.

I see Palace lost to Cardiff 2-0 not long ago. Think you all have a chance?

The big blow to LFC is the loss of emerging defensive midfielder Lucas. He was a bit of liability a few seasons ago but has turned himself into a good player. Jay Spearing will be his replacement. Big drop in quality. Lucas was even getting first team call ups for Brazil. Fulham away on Monday and Liverpool needs to win to keep pace with Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, and United who all fucking won today. I'm surprised by Spurs. Redknapp is cementing himself as a top flight manager. He's easily the third best gaffer in the league after Fergie and Wenger.

Also, Chicharito is out for at least 4 weeks. And we had our first sacking. Sunderland let Steve Bruce go and replaced him with Martin O'Neill.

I Caller Bob finger this Liverpool team. They play like fucking world beaters if the opponent is in the top 6 of the table (outside of the Spurs match) and then consistently fail to score goals against the rabble of the league.

Real Madrid host Barcelona today at 3pm. You can watch it on ESPN3.com. Dives, simulation, Iberian men acting as if shot by snipers. Someone from Madrid will get red carded. You know the usual stuff for this match.

This is one of the finest goals I have ever seen. Robin van Persie.

And once again Ronaldo failed to show in the big game. Two glorious chances wasted, and Mourinho complaining about bad luck.

And does Ray Hudson have a book of sayings? "That was a Bernie Madoff run"

I don't get Mourinho's tactics for this match. There wasn't the usual complete negative football. I was positive they'd sit on the 1-0 lead for the entire match, which would have been classic Jose. Instead they kept pressing and Ronaldo should have given them another. But then they got burned and were completely outclassed in the second half. He doesn't have the same type of defensive players at Madrid that he had at Inter. It was my belief this would be the year Madrid overtook Barca and I know this is just 1 of several matches the clubs will play this year.

Chelsea with a big win over City to narrow the gap at the top. Cancel that Villas Boas sack watch. But keep it handy. May resume next month.

if blackburn wants any hope of staying up, they'd better make some moves.

i really have no faith in this new ownership; they've held onto keane far, far too long, and it's been abysmal.

Started watching Wigan-Liverpool but the Reds' scintilating play had me asllep by halftime. I awoke in time to see what was apparently their best push, in 2nd half added time.

Well at least I am not a Rovers' supporter.

Sorry Zach. Don't worry, Kean will soon be gone and better times are ahead, but I fear that may be in the Championship.

I'm in deep mourning over Suarez's ban (8 matches). This club was already listless in front of the goal. Having the best defense in the Premier League doesn't mean a fiddler's fuck if you can't score.
