France will be the host of the 2016 edition of the UEFA European Championsips. The tournament will also be expanded from 16 teams to 24. The winners and runner-ups of the six four-team groups along with the four best third place tams will advance to the quarter finals. The Euro 2016 winner will earn a spot in the 2017 Confederarions Cup in Brazil. The Booyeah network (ESPN) has the rights to broadcast the tournament in the United State. Let's hope Alexi Lalas and Michael Ballack will still be around to hate each other. |
