Shitty draw for Madrid.

And Iniesta is not the best player in Europe.

It seems highly suspicious the champions of Spain, England, and Germany all got drawn into the same group. I think City was in a group of death last year, too.

Bayern got stunned in Belarus. City get a draw with a bullshit penalty in their favor at the 90th minute. They don't look like they will anything this season.

Well it happened...Chelsea FC has become the first defending European champion to crash out in the next Champions League competition in the group stage. On to the Europa League.

United is out. Undeservedly, I guess. So, I suppose Nani didn't know the guy was there. I wasn't too outraged at the red card. It wasn't a death sentence for the team. They still could have turtled up and tried to hold the lead. Juventus, Dortmund (the trendy team to support now) and PSG are also in to the last 8. I still think Barca will turn over Milan at home next week despite every reactionary blogger/pundit/internet forum cretin writing a piece called "Is this the end of Barcelona?"

Spent four days this week in Rochester, MN. Walked from the hotel to Dooley's Pub to watch Barcelona-AC Milan because the TV in my room was showing Schalke-Galataasry (Not sure why). Pub couldn't show either match because they were having issues with their satellite dish.

It would figure that Barca would overturn a 2-0 deficit and win 4-2 on aggregate.

Are you saddened by the lack of england in the quarters/semis/wherever-we're-at?

At least Arsene's wife stays proper fit so he's got SOMETHING to come home to, other than a futile effort at cracking the top-4 in the drama-free-EPL, of course drama being relative to the league title.

I guess since Chelsea got kicked down to the Europa League. It didn't really bother me that the other English teams went out of the Champion's League. Tottenham, Newcastle and Chelsea are still alive in the Europa League.

If you are on Twitter. Even though he is a miserable bastard. Piers Morgan is a funny follow because he is an Arsenal fan and hates Wenger with a passion. It's even funnier when the Gunners are losing.

I didn't watch any matches last week. I don't know if it's the lack of English teams but I'm not as interested this year. It'll be tough to top last year's final rounds. Two epic semis and a great final.

I guess I know how CoF felt when the Shieks bought City. Was a PSG fan when they were mediocre, even have an old kit, and now they're rich bastards. Zlatan's pretty cool though so it's not hard to still cheer for them. Am a bit annoyed they're changing the badge next year and basically losing the Saint Germain part.

The French Government is going to pass a tax law that will effectively turn the French first division into the MLS by taxing the actual soccer club 75% on any salaries over $1M.

PSG will be paying taxes out their ass with that roster.

75% isn't that crazy tax rate, plus it's not going to be easy with Monaco.

Germans killing Spain in the semis. 4-0 Bayern over Barca and currently 3-1 Dortmund over Real.

Lewandowski hat trick. The 3rd goal was a beauty.

Madrid has a slight chance. I could see them winning 3-0 at home. Or 4-1 and going to penalties.

Barca is done. There were cracks showing against Milan and PSG. It's not this epic changing of the guard people are saying it is but it's noteworthy how easily they were dispatched. They need a CB with a set a testicles. Puyol is old and Pique is a wanker.

what killed my love of watching Man Citeh was Mancini. I hate that guy and his stupid (now departed) mohawked striker.

Super Mario was entertaining as hell for a non-City fan though, sad to see him go.

Final is today. Dortmund and Bayern. I think Bayern will win. Coverage starts at 1pm on Fox, which means 45 minutes of Rob Stone trying to act cool and Eric Wynalda stating the obvious.

"Robert Lewandowski needs to have a good game for Dortmund to win."

"I think it will come down to who is winning those battles on the set pieces."

GUS JOHNSON WILL BE CALLING THE GAME! THE SHOUTING AND THE SCREAMING WILL COMMENCE AT 1:45PM!

Dortmund needs to bring back the full bumblebee socks from the 90's.
