Anyone catch the Man City vs Munich game? Geez, 1-0 but it felt more like 15-0. I'm not even sure if Man City got a shot on goal the entire game.

Crystal Palace getting hot or something. The yearly manager switch paying off again, although it was probably too early. Will probably have to sack someone again by Boxing Day.

Is that in Turkey? It's not a huge deal if they lose away. That's a tough atmosphere and a decent squad.

oh no it's at the emirates/library. no wilshere. no ramsey. arteta just resigned along with giroud. if i got into shape i'd prolly be a decent backup CB for this team.

i'm praying for that one game every 15 months where abou diaby looks like the GOAT, et tu, zizou?

btw, i encourage everyone without worldly pursuits at 1:45 to join me in the time honored tradition of THE ARSENAL DRINKING GAME(TM).

the rules are simple: when they suck, you drink.

you'll be ready to fuck that chick at rpb's redbox by halftime or you'll get some rich londonite's season ticket $$$ back. 100% guarnteed.

I've only got 5 beers in the fridge, and the replay of Arsenal v Galatasaray is on after Liverpool v Basel.
Ain't nothing neutral about which game I'll be watching in real time.
So I might have to play the Gunner drinking game at the weekend.
fucking Chelsea..........

shirtless, get this dude. so before welbeck's scored after his first sitter i come up with the joke MAN DANNY WELBECK IS LIKE THAT TIME I FUCKED FOR 3+HRS STRAIGHT..... I DIDN'T FINISH. and right as i drop it on irc and /arse/ he scores his first goal.

then as we continue i come up with this

14:14 <+emessiah> on a scale of 1 to 10 honestly how much is danny welbeck the
place where dreams go to die?
14:14 <+emessiah> it's kind of like the end of bill and ted's excellent
adventure where george carlin pops up and says "HE DOES GET
BETTER", right?

...right as he scores goal #2.

so yeah. i'm properly STFU. and turkish fans show their legendary support, while their players look like theme park or casino workers or whatever that CL kit is going for (compared to manutd's 3rd blue 70s gas station attendant uniforms) and uhhhh alexis. and ozil's having a blast out there and wow. i'm drinking because i want to guys! this is a step in the right direction! =D

dude, supporting arsenal is like going to the cool kids party with all of your classy friends and then watching them all go off to get laid while you go home alone playing better music than they could ever dream of listening to.

but don't worry, i hear somebody called in the a-team to deal with the real madrid problem. KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON.

oh god dude you kidding me? i'm going for a resin hit at this rate. i might go meander around the westside looking for a hundred discarded dopebags to get into the proper swing of things. i might turn down acid AGAIN.

naw j/k. me and my sixer of MGD are having a swell time before some salmon tonight and uhhh.... the continuation of this odd audio-based project i've got going on. and american scousers are coming at my american-arsenal-plastic ass in the thread like WAAAAHHHH ARSENAL IS LIKE THE WINGMAN OF TOP FLIGHT EURO FOOTBALL!!!!

isn't this why a franchise has >MUH 5 EUROPEAN CUPS? so they DONT have to whine about stuff like this?

(it's all love and banter, KD)

Interesting Premier League match at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as Arsenal makes the 8 mile trip to face Chelsea.

I will be insterested to see how Diego Costa performs after playing 90 minutes on Tuesday against Sporting Lisbon in thr Champions League.

Also, Arsene Wegner had never beaten Jose Mourinho.

BTW, I wish someone would bring back Special One TV.

are you just trying to set me up or did you forget that mourinho Himself referred to wenger as a "specialist in failure" last year. and he's actually been hired as a pundit for BT sport, who ran this wonderful ad campaign to promote the 14-15 PL season:

Image

to put it humbly, arsene wenger is mourinho's bitch. wenger is inflexible with adapting tactics/gameplans because he wants to let dusty's horses run free out there and well, they tend to run themselves into chelsea's brick wall of a parked bus and now with cesc and costa there? FUCKIN 'ELL M8

thank god it's on at 8:05am this sunday so i'll resist the urge to get/drink liquor. costa has been.... well, fucking awesome to say the least. i wanted to slag him off so badly as a 1-2yr la liga baby and all that but..... this guy has been the truth over there. and cesc looks reinvigorated with his #barcaDNA back in full beastmode.... but then again plz do remember that partially barca partially cesc he has been both practically and statistically invisible in the 2nd halves of the last 2 seasons, so there's still a long road to go..

and yeah, this would be a fucking huge one for wenger that would rival the FA cup win, imo. esp because of that whole "specialist in failure" thing.

so, it has come to my attention that the proto-liverpudlians of the board are a bit shy of my gregarious arsenal-plasticdom, so they kind of sulk off to side threads to talk about ENGLAND'S MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB WITH 41 HONOURS (str8 outta the @LFC twitter bio. the most successful english side of anyone under 50 just says "the official twitter of manchester united fc" btw)

after literally coming out and saying balotelli was "the best we could get" during mid-week, brendan rodgers has dropped the oft-non-striking-striker for BRITISH HERO RICKIE LAMBERT for today's tilt @ aston villa in 30mins. this is obviously huge news to anyone who cares, and if you care.... what are you doing here? http://www.redandwhitekop.com #JFT96 #YNWA #etc

but if you're still here.... well, this could be interesting. the EPL had no early game this weekend and is instead shooting its wad tomorrow with MU/everton before the pochettino bowl and of course that little inevitable 5-0 drubbing chelsea's gonna give the recently embronzened danny welbeck and the mighty arsenal.

but of course the weekend starts with the greatest team in the history of england, or is it the greatest history in the team of england? or is it the greatest england in the history of team? idk. but what i do know is that when rickie lambert takes the field you watch. or shit i think the bundesliga is starting right now so i must go occupy myself with buyern/dortmund squash matches.

i'm gonna have to walk alone on this one, aren't i? dadgummit.

Looks like Palace may be sold to an American who owns the NJ Devils and Phi 76ers. If we can't have a good league we might as well buy somebody else's. That'd make 6/20 EPL teams owned by USAsians

the chelsea/arsental tilt wasn't that bad.

[it wasnt that good either. march 27th here, i remember a world classy cesc fabregas long assist to put chelsea up 2-1 which IIRC was the score they won by and yeah, barring near/historic fuckup they got the prem]

Now that Chivas USA is gone from MLS...the league announced that a new team in Los Angeles will be playing in a new stadium. The team will begin MLS play in 2017.

Among the ownership is Magic Johnson, Mia Hamm and Anthony Robbins

Found this interesting little story about Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard. Says there is a possibility he could end up playing in New York next season but not with the Red Bulls or NYFC but with the New York Cosmos of the NASL.

http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/2014 ... rk-cosmos/

I would be shocked if this happened but crazier things have happen before.

I think Rodgers wants to drop him from the lineup but there's nothing much to put in his position on the roster. His performances have been mostly subpar this year. They have him playing as a defensive midfielder now. Defending was never something he was good at. He should leave if he wants a title. Last year was the only chance this club will ever have for the foreseeable future.

WELP, as the topic now has been updated to include..... DAVID MOYES HAS RETURNED TO THE WORLD OF EUROPEAN FOOTBALL!

Image

he inherits a real sociedad team that was in the champions league last year riding the success of guys like ex-arsenalite carlos vela (who has found his class over there and even went back to the mexican national team to have a brace on wednesday vs the netherlands and #NoEraPenal massive rejoiced as robben couldn't flop his way to another crucial penalty kick to screw over the mexischaft!

AHEM. he inherits a team that rode the vela/griezmann wave (the latter of which is starting to look pretty good over @ atletico madrid) to the CL but now greasemann is gone and it's all about vela,

[blah blah blah]

so yeah about those real sociedad fans.... (SPANISH GIROUD INCOMING)

Image

indeed, if that moustache doesn't tell you that this man is SERIOUS and MEANS BUSINESS, idk what else can convince you that even real fucking sociedad is worried that moyes will come in and be in over his head again and see them off and relegated. we'll see what happens.

VIVA LA >MOYES!
