Jozy's living off the reputation of one good year playing for AZ and scoring against fruit-hatted nations.

Who is this Bobby Wood guy? He's scoring goals in big spots. Will Jergens Kleenex start him up top with Dempsey ever?

The team still has lots of the same try hards from the Bradley era. Mexico is just better. Also, your next generation players just lost an Olympic qualifier to Honduras.

Oberfuhrer Klinsmann got the team back on the path to success with a stunning 6-1 upset of St. Vincent De Paul and the Giardiniera. A titanic task awaits the squad on Wednesday when they travel to tussle with Trinidad and it's Teabaggers.

why does the US suck at soccer? far as I can tell its the most popular youth sport and has been for at least 20 years. 300 million people and we can't hang with a Honduras?

Time to blow the whole thing up again after this last weekend. Losing friday to Mexico on US soil for a WC qualifier for the first time in decades, topping that off with a 4-0 ass kicking at the hands of Costa Rica last night. Pathetic.

Always figured Jurgen was just here to hang out in the states for fun. The really disappointing this is I figured the kids coming up would be better thanks to Tab Ramos.

Fucked up Honduras real good tonight. Dempsey with 3. Pulisic may end up being the best US player ever. Dynamic like I have never see for the national team.

Pulisic still possibly the best player in US history.

Not going to make the WC. Bruce Arena was the answer!

bump this a bit -

going to watch the usa in their gold cup group match with canada today. due to the intense rivalry between the usa and canada, we have a mexican referee.

dike and hoppe should be all over the bad CAN defense but i'm hoping it's a spirited match. there's nothing on the line for either of them really, they're both through to the next round.

watched the match and felt canada very unlucky. definite penalty early on...usa CB beaten for pace fell down on the back of the canadian's legs.

i understand this is the usa 'b'-'c' squad. really critical at intl. level for players to get as many practices and matches together - i don't expect many of these usa players to even be in the world cup squad. i get the risk for club sides with their fatigued players on intl. duty, but if the clubs had it their way, there would be no more intl. football.

hoppe got a few minutes and there was some smoke, but, no fire - in dike's play. it looked like he hurt his shoulder trying to embellish - as he fell and tumbled after taking a finger to his cheek.

i'll probably match the mexico match later on.

As long as Jozy’s not playing I’m cool.

gold cup final is tonight - mexico, slight favorites.

i like mexico here...they've called higher level talent for this tournament as compared to the usa. the mexico x canada match saw lots of bad blood and i expect the same here.

Is it too much to get Arriola to put a ball on net?

So many frustratingly close moments. I have no idea how 2-3 goals haven’t been scored.

that acosta kid was excellent. i'm hopeful for this team, especially since they were playing without their best player (pulisic) during the tournament.
