I remember the first time I went to a Chicago Fire game. Actually, let me go back a few weeks when I met Mike Royko before he died. I was part of his 16 in softball league. He would never let anything go. I remember one game in '91, when some armchair beer leaguer would not let a bad call go, that guy got right in his face, glasses and all...and you know Royko. He was all over him, the whole inning. It was pretty funny. Now at the time I had this really annoying friend, we called him Fisher. He would always go to the river and pretend like he was fishing. Big Cubs fan. If you ever went to the Cubby Bear during the 1980's, you saw him there. Mark my word. He was worse than Ronnie Woo Woo. And baseball is the greatest sport ever, more popular than God.
