Apologize in advance for the simpleminded ESPNish/Sophies's choice nature of this thread but

With that shit out of the way it's gonna be Superstition. It's crazy how nobody reports the fact that nobody ever had a shitty day after hearing that. It's the best song fucking ever no matter what you listen to.

Honorable mention to Renegades of funk by Rage against the machine which obviously has an equally strong claim.

Cubs look like the best team of all time. Villanova over Oklahoma turned into a baseball team.

Superstition is a better song than wish you were here. Both would make my top 10 probably. Wish you were here is a great fucking song. But you're biased. Not all of us were tuning in and dropping out at that Gilmour show the other night.

Let's get together with Boyd and frank again and try to sneak beer into a sox game.

I can't pick just one. I'd say it depends on the criteria, as well (music, lyrics.
That being said, Superstition and Wish You were here are great nominations.
I'll throw "baba o riley" into the list...and I'm not one of those big Who fans.

I'm no music guy. Everything I like is pop-ish and overplayed by now. But I'd probably take Hotel California......

Renegades of Funk was written and released by Afrika Bambaataa.

Rage covered it...and it's not even as good as the original.

Shit on a shingle, the best Rage song is Killing in the Name.

Damn kids.

Also, Darko is right...Wish You Were Here was better.

Best Stevie song is Living for the City

Well, if we're talking Puss Rock, a couple of other good charts are ...

Love Will Find a Way (nice bass work) - Pablo Cruise
Heart Hotels (tasty drumming in a few spots) - Dan Fogelberg

Lol, after posting I checked out the YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aVgFDEiUlI), and the comments are pretty good ("I wonder if they jerked each other off after the cover shoot was finished").

The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
Brian Eno - St. Elmo's Fire
Talking Heads - This Must Be The Place
U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name
New Radicals - You Get What You Give
Radiohead - Let Down
The Replacements - Alex Chilton
The Mountain Goats - This Year
Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek
Wilco - Jesus, Etc.
Bjork - Hyper-Ballad
The Afghan Whigs - 66

Every time I hear that song it reminds me of the 70's era promos on ABC (yes I'm old)...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tO96_Ypjqik

Reminds me of the promo they did in 1985 to the tune of Randy Newman's I Love LA:
