I hate the term jam band. That statement is a lazy, cheap way to discount a bunch of great bands. Judge bands by their own merit.

What makes a band a jam band? Is Ween a jam band? MMJ? Tedeschi Trucks Band? Where is the line drawn?

I suppose I should give up this fight. That term isn't going anywhere.
