They got screwed today. Those penalties were mostly home-field bullshit.

1st quarter of the season, though, tons of avoidable penalties.

Box score won't show it, but today was a moderate/large step forward.

Absolutely a step forward. Not sure they can finish .500 with their schedule, but if he gets 'em pointed in the right direction and then recruits well...they may be ok.

He's got the best accent of any Big Ten coach, by far.
