They're so popular that people are even wearing Cubs stuff at a Sox game!

It's to let the lower-class regular attendees know that they're only slumming it as an ironic joke.

I went to as many Cubs games last year as I did Sox games. Mostly because Im cheap as hell and refuse to pay for tickets and I think it's way too much hassle to go tp Wrigley.

I enjoy going to Sox games as opposed to Cubs by an order of magnitude x 1000

I'm planning in making a trip back to the city this summer. How is Sox Park these days? I keep hearing they have great food there but who knows if that is just some bullshit.

Times must have changed. I would never go into Sox Park wearing any other team gear ESPECIALLY CUBS gear. That was a guarantee to get your ass kicked or at least get shoved around when trying to go to the bathroom.

Its just stupid to wear Cubs gear to a Sox game unless they are playing each other.

A hat is one thing. I've been to Wrigley wearing a Sox hat before and had no real issues.

I'm taking unbuttoned Cubs jersey with Cubs Tshirt underneath, hat, & hoodie. There were MANY people dressed like this at Saturday's game. It seems rather silly, and given the amount of alcohol that people from both fanbases drink, you are asking for trouble.

At least they are in the same city. I see dipshits at games wearing jerseys from teams that aren't playing AND not even from that area. WTF is that? Why are you wearing Phillies gear to a Cubs/Giants game?

Who cares? Some people go to games when visiting other cities. I wore my bears coat to a packers/vikings game at Lambeau (it's what I had for the temperature) and cubs wear to some random game at the old Kingdome and I think in houston too. Normal people don't get all worked up about someone else wearing some other team's colors.

I brought an America hates the packers sign to a Cubs phillies game. Our seats were 15 rows behind home plate. The usher had us walk down to the fence to start the telecast. It opened on us and then lifted up to Len and Bob in the booth.
