I live in the bay area half the year and catch the end of the Sharks season and playoffs when they make it. It's a werid fan base. I dont know how to describe it. The worst part is their annoucers growing beards during the playoff runs. so bush leauge. they stopped doing it i think this year.

btw, hockey beards . I remember last year the commish pretty much said it is stupid and not a good marketing tool.

I noticed this year not as many players wearing playoff beards. Anyone else noticed that?

I noticed more beards to start with than your typical playoff growth.

damn 7-1. Ana didnt come to even play tonight. waiting for that game 7 in their pocket. that's why they've been bounced the last 4 times when theyve had a 3 games to 2 lead. Who plays like that?

Let me try: maladjusted upper-middle-class children who have never been made aware of their limitations.

There's also sort of a St. Louis Cardinals thing going on in how the team treats the fans, a lot of that same who's-a-good-dog-you're-a-good-dog reassurance, so even though the team coughs up a best-of-seven every year, fans are still bewildered that such a fate could possibly befall them, the good fans who support the Sharks' rec league and go to all the games and do chompy gestures with their arms. Nashville is very similar but without less petulance and more bitter racism.

If the Ducks can follow the Blues out of the playoffs, then I can have about as much satisfaction as a Hawks fan could have at this point.

Sure seemed like it. The Pens were complete shit for the last 4-5 periods. It has looked like the Preds outplaying our beloved Hawks. Last night was just weird to see the lack of passing ability and to get to a puck. Who knew Trevor Daley made such a huge difference. Good for the Caps I guess.

If you're going to chant the goalie, go with the classic "sieve, sieve, sieve" but make sure you have a damn lead when you're doing it.

Capitals out in seven and with their contract situation you have to wonder whether this is the end of their window. Williams, Oshie, Alzer, and Shattenkirk are gone, and Burakovsky and Kuznetsov have raises due. Ovechkin, Backstrom, and Holtby are locked down, but I say, can't win with 'em. Seriously entertain the idea of starting all over.

Four minutes in and the Ducks are already trailing in a Game 7 at home, fuck the Ducks so hard forever.

Pens biggest missing has been there defenders. That has little to do with Fleury shitting the bed tonight. They were excited Daley came back.

Haven't watched a minute of this shit since the Oilers got bounced. Go whoever wins the East.

helps when the refs don't call 2 penalties on the game typing goal. Good chance scoring 6 v 3.

but they got the magic the hawks once had.

I love watching the ducks lose. They are worse than the backes era blues. Getzlaf, perry and Kessler are the absolute worst. I haven't seen a game yet where they don't try to throw down after a loss.

....and when did cocksucker become a homophobic slur? Anyone can suck cock. Thanks Jules.

I don't like the preds but I despise the Ducks. I found nothing redeeming about the team. Nothing to make me want them to exist. Fuck the duck.

I hate the Ducks as a team, but I don't give their fanbase a second thought. I don't mind the players on the Preds but loathe their bitchy self-impressed fans.

All things being equal I'd never cheer for the preds. Never. I was bummed when the oil lost because 1) I like their style of hockey and 2) I was going to have to route for the preds. I don't want to see an Ottawa vs Nashville finals but Sens might be last team I'd feel good about winning.
