Dodgers are deeper but dolphin's statement is accurate, I think.

Astros might be the second team in a row to have their plan work out.

You could list all the rest of the teams for every season that these flesh peddlers have been ranking prospects and the answer is still "yes".

It's almost a shame when you have to bring them up to the majors.

Only when they suck like Moncada and Schwarber. Eloy's coming though

I promise you if Moncada hits 5 homeruns in one postseason or starts the greatest rally in the history of the World Series, you will be happy

I agree but that is going to be difficult for him to do because he sucks. Looking like he's one of those "wont be on the team when they are ready to compete" guys. Hopefully the genius Rick Hahn can flip him for a top prospect before then.

When Moncada helps get the Sox to the World Series, there will be no rally started because the White Sox will take care of business in four games again like real men and real Champions do.

2014 Cubs system was "stronger" than the current White Sox system. Not trying to argue...just saying.

Top 20:

Kris Bryant (ROTY, MVP, 2x AS, WS champ)
Addison Russell (AS. WS champ)
Albert Almora (.747 OPS CF with amazing defense, WS champ)
Jorge Soler (Maybe the greatest AAAA player ever, but WS champ...still very young. 1.000+ OPS in AAA this season in ~40 games)
CJ Edwards (future closer, WS champ)
Kyle Schwarber (major bust)
Billy McKinney (.887 OPS in AAA this season, should be a decent starter or really good 4th outfielder)
Pierce Johnson (doesn't look good so far)
Dan Vogelbach (.860 OPS in AAA this season)
Victor Caratini (He'd be a starter on 15 teams in the league right now...)
Jeimer Candelario (He should be finding himself starting on an MLB team next week)
Eloy Jimenez (Vlad Guerrero)
Jen-Ho Tseng (10-3 with a 2.71 ERA between AA and AAA this season. Amazing secondaries)
Gleyber Torres (Manny Machado)
Christian Villanueva (.938 OPS in AAA this season)
Paul Blackburn (3.00 ERA over 100 innings between AAA and MLB this season)
and some other guys that don't matter.

White Sox system is strong, no doubt, but Eloy and Torres weren't even Top 10 prospects on that 2014 list.

According to prospect rankings from Pipeline, the Sox fare better. Not trying to argue, just stating a fact.

If getting your ass kicked by a 63-year old gray haired guy is on your bucket list, you're getting awfully close to crossing it off.

You might want to focus on adding a paying job to your sig instead.

I do quite fine financially between my writing and publishing a national, sponsored podcast.
Thanks for your concern.
Now, tell us all about what you do for a living or do you wish to remain hiding behind that Peter Pudwhack moniker?

This is a very strange post. Are you comparing the major league accomplishments of players from 3 years ago to players who have either not made the major leagues or have just gotten up?

I didn't realize Hahn had brainwashed you guys this badly. It's like Stockholm Syndrome, and it's sad to see.

The Sox traded a generational talent in Chris Sale, and now it's okay if what you got in return doesn't do anything. smh

Congratulating Frankie Flapjacks on his blog is like congratulating someone who tunes into the Score for a fine show.
I must admit that the blog is not bad (even though it has shown up less than once a month over seven years).
Flapjack's only contribution to the blog is stuffing his face. He doesn't write it - he just shows up for the eating.
Congratulations, Frankie! Damn nice work!
Your contributions to that blog are only slightly less important than your contributions to the board.
Oh, and - 2005!!!

I'm stating that when anyone goes back and talks about organizations with the brightest futures and biggest wealth of high level prospects, the 2014 Cubs will be thought of before the 2017 White Sox.

This has been the most disappointing development of the last 8 months.

They now think a guy who makes Terry Bevington look like Tony LaRussa is a brilliant baseball guy.

When did White Sox fans become Cubs fans?

I'm not sure. Kris Bryant is going to be a Hall Of Famer. The rest of your list has a lot of work to do when we are looking back at things with the benefit of hindsight. You also could argue that Russell was barely in the Cubs minor league system.

I mean, no one is going to say Carl Edwards was a stud prospect because he was a roster spot on the World Series team.

If he fails, what are you going to do about it?
Boycott the team? Hang Hahn in effigy? Make another 57,000 meaningless posts here? Live your life just to troll Cub threads?
For Pete's sake, it's merely baseball. Go have a little breakfast and relax!

Subtract Frankie's intelligent posts where he calls people "Fucking idiot" or "Fucking genius" and you have
