Really hoping Zobrist does the team a favor and hangs it up at the end of the season. He's had 1 hot streak this season, and is becoming injury prone. He shouldn't be playing 2nd, and he is bad in the OF. Unless he wants to go DH occasionally, he needs to retire. I believe he has a no trade, so we are fucked.

Good game. I'm starting to feel that playoff push tension setting in. Should be an interesting last couple of months.

Edit: Next two series are going to be a good barometer for just how well this team is playing now.

Last 2 series now vs good teams 3 close games and we took 2/3.

This next homestand will tell us about what kind of team this is. They're playing real good teams now. I hope they can go at least 4-2. If they can do that then they're on the right path.

Just came here to say that. Their starting pitching looked mediocre at best a month ago, but Arrieta and Lackey seem to have turned it around.
