Wait...you guys aren't joking about Jack's?

Isn't it in the trash tier of frozen pizzas? Is it better now?

Home Run Inn and Connies are my go to pies when at home. Jacks makes a good rising crust if you like a doughy cheap pizza.

I like Home Run Inn but it has the same issue as Red Baron... no cardboard under the pizza. You have to smash the box down to turn it into a makeshift cutting board. The cardboard circle is key... slide that bad boy right out of the oven onto the cardboard and your ready to roll. Now I'm using a grimy box that a bunch of people touched. Disgusting.

Get a pan at Target for like $5.

Pamper yourself.

You know you can use the inside portion of the pizza box as your cutting board? People don't touch that.

A lot of the less expensive brands use pepperoni and sausage made from "Chicken, Pork, and Beef".
Nope. Sausage and pepperoni should only be made from pork.
Up here in Wisconsin, there's Jimm's Thin and P'Mos - those are probably the best frozens in the store.

Jack's Supreme is pretty good for a bachelor night. I can't decide on Home Run Inn...half of the time I don't care for it. Haven't tried Gino's East or Palermo's. The Screamin' Sicilian pizzas are kinda pricey, no? Like $8? Celeste's are meh.

Screamin' Sicilians I've seen from $6-$8 but worth it, IMO. They have several varieties but I prefer the supreme.

You've gotten us to a great subject.

What the fuck is with this chicken chorizo crap? Chorizo is pork. Even Chipotle is riding this chicken chorizo BS. gtfo.

Screamin' Sicilians are very good. My 2nd favorite.

I tried a Brew Pub pizza a few weeks ago that's supposed to have extra cheese. It was about $8 or so, I think. If you like cheesy pizza, that's the way to go.

It was very good and cheesy. Nice crisp crust as well.

No, it's great. For $3, you can't go wrong with their thin pepperoni. I always add a little more cheese. Never feel bad for eating the whole thing because it's thin, as pizza should be. Too much bread with many other frozen pizzas.

Love Jack's Pizza for what it is.

5 for $10 got me through college. It's a great cheap pizza.

Although it probably led to my salt level issues as an older man.

They often have Jack's Pizza on sale at Menards five for $10.

I just actually read what I wrote but it's true... Jack's is pretty good no matter where you get it!

Grog's was $2.50 if memory serves. I figured you ordered a few of those back in the day. Or were you a Pokey Sticks guy?

I couldn't stand the first group of Gino's thin crust. But someone here spoke glowingly about their new tavern style and damn If he wasn't right.

The former Jewels brand sausage pizzas remind me of the slices they sold at the Illinois Orange snack bar that I still remember fondly though.

I wasn't a Home of Chow guy but I did like the Gumby's Pokey Sticks and pizza.

I was a Pizza World guy.

A lot of frozen pizzas can be spruced up with extra cheese and toppings. And, according to Hank, a wooden serving apparatus.

Hmm, I don't have memories of that pizza at the Orange. I blew all my meal credits on those Clearly Canadian seltzer waters. I was a Domino's guy back in those days. Large one topping pizza with beverage for five dollars delivered.

Used to always add extra cheese to the frozen pizzas my mom got when I was a kid. I'm afraid what my 40 year old metabolism and digestive system would do with the extra pound of cheese from back then.

I miss the Dominicks pizzas. I don't even remember if they were any good. It's a nostaglia thing. $5 pizza every Friday as a teenager was good stuff.

IMU, did they still have those pizza boats at our high school in the ala carte line when you went there?

I am shocked that they stopped selling those. Waybackthen kids would willingly wait for fresh ones.

And Dr Ken I am shocked that you were a Pizza World guy
