I'm sorry if the truth hurts Richard.

Your proof is what I've said about Theo?

He has no proof, or even evidence. Every time this topic comes up it's just him and RPB repeating over and over again that's it's not even despite all the evidence on this board to the contrary.

I even gave rpb that excuse to try and justify his claim but he denied that.

SAD!

Is that not true? I mean, I have no idea if the number is accurate, but does it upset you that there are far more Cub fans than Sox fans? Because it's really not debatable, and I don't think most Sox fans care.

I think you have to look at the data on Facebook likes and vanity license plates in order to get an accurate ratio of the fans.

That was a rare misstep by America. He's usually pretty even-handed, aside from his accusations of rape and homosexuality for Cubs personnel.

Clearly we have a man here who doesn't care about the Sox.

I haven't the slightest idea to its accuracy, but the Cubs are very popular, due in large part to WGN. Does it really matter how big the number is? If I was a Sox fan, I would revel in the fact that my team wasn't mass-marketed.

The Cub Fan psyche must be extremely delicate if you have to number the list that way.

I wouldn't say I revel in it. Tickets being cheap and available on game day is nice but overall I don't get why anyone would care how many other fans a team they liked had.

I like being a fan of a niche team.

I liked Boers and Bernstein when it was routinely getting trounced by Mac.

I like the underdog.

Become a Chargers fan. Don't think there are any left now anywhere

I also worked in a room with 10,000 sports fans for about 8 years. Pretty good focus group there.

You think anyone who says it's close is either lying or very dense. That's just dumb.

I am hateable but that's not the cause here.

It's not a negative to me. I grew up with it. It's fine. It'd be weird if Sox fans didn't hate.

Forget the label then. I don't know why some people can't see it, I'm not a psychiatrist.

It's just not close.

It's pretty ironic that you are this persistent about the argument. It inherently makes your own argument weaker. You are what you project on to sox fans.

I think you're just making the mistake of assuming everyone has the same experiences you do. Almost every fan on both sides that I grew up with would laugh at the idea that it's disproportionate in one way or the other.

The majority of both fan bases don't give too much of a shit about the other outside some friendly ball busting. That's just the plain truth. I get why it's fun to pretend otherwise though.
