Always had them. Great Thibs made a few off season moves which make them better on paper this year. I will have to die on my shield with this one. I still believe Philly will take them out for that money! Embiid had better get his brittle ass in there though. Without him we stands no chance.

The dynasty is officially dead. Duncan is gone, Ginobli is done, and Parker is now done. Leonard isn't dynamic enough to put the team on his back and Aldridge checked out. Welcome to mediocrity.

Yeah their run is over. Probably will be a 47-48 win team this season.

He had what many consider the best team in history dead to rights until they illegally took him out. If he stays healthy he will be a champion again this year.

RR and RPB declared the dynasty dead in 2012. I don't think your prediction will work out much better than theirs.

I declared them dead too around the same time. I was happy I was wrong. Things are different now though. Parker is not Parker anymore and you know Aldridge is dead weight. Kawhi is not beating the Warriors on his own. He may not even be able to get past the Thunder.

Kawhi beat the hell out of the Warriors all year last year. It wasn't just the one game. Durant's his bitch and Danny Green and Mills do a good job on Steph and Klay.

Keep in mind that the Sixers are regarded as the best case scenario in terms of recent tank jobs. They had a guy in Hinkie who was generally regarded as winning trades left and right and acquiring long-term assets, and they're still far from a sure thing. Now realize the Bulls have GarPax overseeing a similar project, two guys who never win trades and necessitated a tank in the first place through their complete mismanagement of the team.

Paxson doesn't make many trades. You're neglecting to mention the fact that they won the Butler trade.

Does he play even half of the games during this deal?

Dumb, dumb decision with his injury history.

I agree. There were allegations that his injury was healed and he was holding about for a max contract. I'm an Embiid fan but it's hard to take this risk.

Yeah, I don't think he lacks heart, he just can't stay healthy. It's a little hilarious that the 76ers completely destroyed their multi year rebuild with this one move.

It was inevitable they'd ruin the rebuild from the moment they hired the idiot Colangelos. I think there's a chance this gets regarded as one of their better deals by the time they're done.

It's a great deal if he stays healthy. I'm not sure how a reasonable person can expect him to stay healthy going forward.

I've been won over to the "not as bad as it sounds" camp both because it sounds like there are lots of protections for the 76ers here based on what Lowe and Woj have been saying (only 50% guaranteed?) and because there was a great chance he was getting offered the max by another team as a RFA even if he only plays another 30 games.

Great time to deal Okafor. I don't care what they get for him. Ship him out and watch him flourish. 20 pounds lighter and much more active. Let's go.

Still Trusting the Process! Will get their first W tonight against Detroit. Their 3 losses were to the 2nd 3rd and 4th best teams in the East plus no Embiid last game.
